More than a ‘green thumb’
How to make a ‘hand’some bouquet of Easter lilies
Create a beautiful bouquet of Easter lilies for your mom or grandmother. This craft is so easy, you’ll have a big bunch of flowers done and ready to “hand” out in no time.
Recipe for ‘Hand’some Flowers
What you’ll need:
Colorful construction paper
Pencil
Scissors
Green chenille stems
Tape
Stapler
To make:
1. Trace your hand on the construction paper and cut out what you’ve traced.
2. Using the pencil, curl each of the fingers of your handprint.
3. Make a cone shape with the palm portion of your handprint. Make sure the fingers curl outward. Tape the cone together.
4. Staple the flower onto the end of a chenille stem. (Or, if the opening at the end of the cone is tiny enough, you may be able to just stick the chenille stem through the inside of the flower blossom and you won’t need to staple it.)
5. Continue making flowers until you have enough for a bouquet.
