Check out these Children’s Book Week favorite book nominees

snowbears.jpgCelebrate your need to read during Children’s Book Week, May 12-18. This special week to encourage reading among kids has been around since 1919. This is the first year the event has been held in May. Previously, it was celebrated in November.

For the first time ever, kids like you were encouraged to vote for their favorite books online (bookweekonline.com/landing.html). Voting’s open until May 4. Children’s Choice Book Award winners will be announced during a Book Week celebration in New York City on May 14.
